MY PERSONAL BACKGROUND
My name is Amanda T. Canteras and I am a 4th year Kinesiology student at the University of Guelph Humber. I originally had an interest in physical activity because I was involved in a lot of sports growing up, and I knew that I wanted to enter a career in which I can help others. Because of these factors, I decided to pursue a career in the field of Kinesiology and Health Promotion!

Being in my 4th year, my thoughts and opinions have changed in what I want to do. Throughout the year, I've learned of many different career options that I can pursue, and its hard to choose because there are so many options. But one thing is for sure that I know what I want, and that is to work with the aging population.
​
My goal is to help the elderly live a comfortable life through the use of physical activity and health promotion!
